CHARMIN COMMERCIALS - BERYL PRODUCTIONS INTERNATIONAL LTD
I worked as lead compositor at Beryl Productions for 4 years & in that time made over 25 Charmin commercials for USA, Canada & Mexico. Taking the beautifully illustrated 2D pencil drawings & turning them into the finished, coloured, moving piece under the watchful eye of the brilliant Joanna Quinn. I was responsible for compositing all the elements together, colouring, visual effects & creating backgrounds. Over the years I helped to evolve the design process, using heavier shadows, masks & textures to create a more 3D feel.

I have now had the pleasure of working on 2 Nike Promo films, directed by the very talented Tom Brown & Holbrooks, 'Better World' & 'Access To Sport'. On these projects I was lead compositor, bringing together 3D, hand drawn & flash animation for the finished short films.

I have worked at Hello Charlie as a freelancer on a few different projects. With an extremely talented team, brimming with variety, I have composited a TV commercial, award shows & visuals for live music events.

VARIOUS MUSIC VIDEOS - COLLISION FILMS
Collision Films is where I began my life as a freelancer, fortunate enough to be taken under the wings of the extremely skilled Chris Hopewell & Ben Foley, I worked as a compositor on several music videos & commercials. Working mainly with Live Action footage I quickly mastered keying out green screen footage & creating backgrounds from scratch using photos & moving footage. Also working with Stop Motion animated elements & rotoscoping to continually create varied videos, each one different from the last.

LUKE & THE VOID - SHORT FILM DIRECTED BY MATT FREETH
Previously working with Matt Freeth on his music videos I was excited to be asked on board this project to do the compositing & special effects. Matt's work is highly creative & this was no exception. The film was about a boy who goes into Space to escape his own life. Using a mixture of live action footage & stills in After Effects & Photoshop to create the scenes.

WHITECAPS - CHAMPLOO
Here I was asked by the dance company 'Champloo' to create a 5 minute piece which would be a part of their 'Whitecaps' project. Whitecaps was a fusion of cinematic film & live breakdancing performed in theatres both in the UK & abroad. My role was to composite 5 minutes of dancing which was filmed in the fountains in the centre of Bristol & create a cascading waterfall set in the countryside. I had to key & rotoscope the dancers & create the background from scratch with various photos & moving footage.
